What is Successfactors:
The SuccessFactors HCM suite is a highly configurable and competes with Workday HR solution, cloud-based systems that can be implemented successfully in a compressed timeline, with lower cost of ownership and in a remote manner. SuccessFactors has worked for years to develop and hone its project methodology to support customers in implementing best-in-class talent management solutions for millions of users in the cloud. By choosing to implement the SuccessFactors HCM suite, you are embarking on a new adventure that will present you with a different way of approaching a systems implementation than you may be accustomed to.

SuccessFactors Integration

Verity Solutions SuccessFactor Project management Methodology:

Although the project structure of a SuccessFactors implementation varies depending on the number of modules undertaken at one time, you can expect to see some baselines. Implementation can be as varied as the Partners in the ecosphere; however, you should ensure that your consultants have product expertise in the implemented module(s), coupled with process and best practice expertise.

The project team can comprise the following types of resources:
Implementation consultant(s)
Project manager
Project sponsor
Technical resource
Functional/business resource
Stakeholder group representatives
Training/communication resource

We recommend BizXpert methodology that draws from the strengths of the existing project methodologies and includes best practices from industry standards (such as PMP, PRINCE2, and Agile) while leveraging best practices from the SAP cloud experience.

Following are the project phases:

1. Prepare
The Prepare phase lays the groundwork for a successful implementation. Tasks are focused on kicking off the project and developing the implementation project plan, as well as ensuring that the customer is prepared for the implementation process and the key differences in a cloud-based implementation.

2. Realize
During the Realize phase, the focus is on system configuration and data migration (if applicable). The system design and requirements identified during the Prepare phase are built in the customer’s test instance. The implementation consultants are responsible for configuring all modules, with the exception of Learning and SAP Jam.

3. Verify
Once configuration is signed off, the Realize phase concludes, and the project transitions to the Verify phase. The tasks conducted during Verify are all focused on testing and organizational readiness for the impending go-live. The customer executes the testing plan developed during the Prepare phase to prove that the system is configured as designed and is “fit for purpose.”

4. Launch
The Launch phase is all about preparing for go-live, launching the system, and transitioning to Customer Success for ongoing support. After all testing activities are completed, identified issues are addressed and retested, and final sign-off of testing is achieved, the implementation consultant begins cutting over configuration from the test instance to the customer’s production instance
